PrettyPower is a new women’s athletic wear line designed for the serious athlete who is performance driven, wants to feel strong, fast and powerful, while looking feminine and beautiful at the same time.
The debut Spring 08 PrettyPower collection is a balance between function and fashion. It contains sport skirts (with a built in compression short), transition skirts, briefs (with and without chamois) as well as a sport halter bra, sport tankini top and sport crop top. The clothing is all made of the highest quality European fabrics with technically superior construction and retails at a competitive price point. The collection will be sold beginning in March 2008 in specialty running and multi-sport stores, as well as, resort and spa shops.
PrettyPower is the convergence of Susan Dell, the fashion designer, and Susan Dell, the competitive athlete. Fashion and athletics are part of her genetic make-up and Susan simply embodies the PrettyPower brand.
For over twenty years, Susan has been designing both read-to-wear and competitive athletic clothing for women. She launched the Susan Dell Inc. company in 1997 where she marketed her first full collection under the Susan Dell label in 1999. In 2004, she launched her most recent women’s designer collection, Phi.
Susan is also a co-founder and Chairman of the board of the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation. With an endowment of more than $1 billion, the foundation has committed more than $300 million to children's health and education initiatives.
In addition to her professional responsibilities, Susan also competes in marathons, triathlons, and cycling races. Her most recent accomplishments include: setting a new course record for women in the 2007 Kaloko Sprint Cycling Race; setting a new course record for women in the 2006 Sea To Stars Mauna Kea Road Race; setting the course record for women in the 2004 Kaloko “La La Land” Cycling Race; and successfully competing in the 2003 Ironman World Championships. She is also a member of the President’s Council for Physical Fitness and Sports. As a designer and accomplished athlete, Susan has personally designed, tested and proven the PrettyPower line.
